Academic Question

If you live in a hole somewhere and have never seen all of the Star Wars movies...this post contains serious spoilers....

I have been pondering....where should you start the Star Wars saga for someone who had never seen it before? Should it be chronologically at the beginning of the story as Lucas meant to originally tell it?

Does it make a difference to already know that Darth Vader is Anakin? or that Luke & Leia are twins? Or that Senator Palaptine is really Darth Sidious?
Where would you start?

Good question. Let me know if you come up with a good answer.

My kids would say - start at the beginning, with Episode 1. Because that's how they saw it. I think it removes some of the magic to know ahead of time that Darth Vader is Luke's father, though, and stylistically the older movies look very different, so you might be better off watching them in release order (4,5,6,1,2,3)

And there's the ewww factor of Luke and Leia kissing (before they know they're siblings).
