This morning Doug was bothered enough by Andy to come tell us that Andy was "calling him names."
However, he was not bothered enough by it that he wanted to stop watching TV long enough to talk about it.
Jim reported a conversation similar to this:
Dad: Doug what did Andy call you?
Doug: I'm going to tell you something so that you will leave me alone. Go downstairs. You didn't hear me say that.
